ST. JOHNS LANDING
The kitchen at St. Johns Landing underwent a complete renovation, revitalizing the older Mediterranean home. The clients aimed to update their space to align with their style, resulting in a modern traditional kitchen and dining area.
Central to the project was the fusion of contemporary design elements with classic features, defining the concept of “Modern Traditional.” This approach sought to create a seamless blend of old and new elements, achieving a cohesive and refined look.

Initially considering a neutral palette, the design evolved to include warm colors like blue-green cabinets, warm woods, and subtle red hues. This infusion of color added depth and texture, fostering a warm and inviting ambiance.
In terms of aesthetics, the kitchen embraced a neutral backdrop with cream walls and warm wood flooring. The choice of Joanna Gaines’ Duke Gray cabinets provided a striking contrast, complemented by a textured handmade tile backsplash and black hardware for added visual appeal.
A key aspect of the project was the incorporation of tall cabinets, reaching up to 10 feet, with glass displays for the clients’ collectibles. A plaster hood above the induction range served as a captivating focal point. The kitchen’s functionality was enhanced by durable quartz countertops and a peninsula with a waterfall edge, adding a touch of sophistication. The homeowners were thrilled with the transformation, as their space now reflects their style, offering a warm and inviting setting for both cooking and dining.….
